We landed, found a really BAD motel, didn't stay very long, then returned after four days. Oh, on the way back we saw a glacier and some moose. What else about Anchorage? - Oh, I guess they got a WalMart and all. And we did buy some gasoline in Anchorage. The airport is pretty spiffy - NOT. But it does provide very convenient access from LAX - a direct flight! Yay! When I go back, I'll try a little harder in Anchorage, but there is just so much to see everywhere else, it's hard to stay in the city. |
