For Megan's birthday, we headed out into the desert.  The drive took about an hour, and in truth, we never really left the sprawling suburbia surrounding Los Angeles.  We popped over to Riverside, home of the historic Mission Inn.  It was there that the day and night of revelry occurred.

The visit began with margaritas by the pool.  Then walked around the place for photo ops.  A little football and beer carried us into the evening, when we had a champagne toast for the birthday girl.  After dinner and wine, we relaxed in the Presidential lounge over a few beers.
